Clinical Associate Professor and Interim Director
Division of Hospital Medicine

At the Division of Hospital Medicine, we deliver comprehensive, compassionate, and coordinated inpatient medicine care to patients across all University of Iowa Health Care hospital locations. Our dedicated clinicians manage day-to-day patient needs while admitted to the hospital, perform diagnostic evaluations, and carry out essential procedures. We pride ourselves on a collaborative spirit, partnering closely with nearly every medical specialty across the hospital to ensure seamless, multidisciplinary care. As leaders in evidence-based and patient-centered medicine, we are deeply committed to advancing clinical research that drives innovation and enhances the patient's experience during their hospital stay. Our goal is not only to provide exceptional care today but to continually elevate the standards of tomorrow.

As part of an academic medical center, we are also shaping the future of medicine. Medical students, residents, and fellows train alongside us, gaining the skills and insights they’ll need to meet the evolving challenges of modern health care.
