Dr. Peter J. Kaboli, staff physician at the ICVA, Professor of Medicine in the Division of General Internal Medicine at the Carver College of Medicine and Acting Executive Director of the VA Office of Rural Health is the recipient of the third DiBona Academics in Service of ICVA Veterans Award.

John Wilde, DO, clinical assistant professor in Palliative Care, has received a UIHC-CCOM Clinical and Educational Program Pilot Grant from the Carver College of Medicine.

Gwen Z. Beck, MD, has been awarded one of the highest distinctions the Carver College of Medicine grants, the Dr. Ernest O. Theilen Clinical Teaching and Service Award.
