Positions
Three positions are offered in the University of Iowa Infectious Diseases Fellowship program each year, available on a competitive basis.
Qualifications
Applicants to the Infectious Diseases Fellowship need to successfully complete three years of postgraduate training in an accredited internal medicine residency program.
Applicatons and Interviews
- Applications for fellowship positions must be submitted through the Electronic Residency Application System (ERAS). The deadline is September 30.
- You must register for the Medical Specialties Match (sponsored by the National Resident Matching Program, or NRMP) in addition to applying through ERAS.
- Applicants invited to interview will have the option of a virtual interview or an in-person interview. Interviews are conducted on select Fridays from latter August to early October.
