Program Goals

The goal of the Interventional Cardiology Training Program is to train the fellow to independently perform catheter-based cardiovascular and peripheral interventions involving various devices and modalities at a level of proficiency to provide the highest quality of interventional care. The trainee will be expected to acquire both the cognitive knowledge base and the technical skills for multiple interventional devices in addition to mastering the knowledge base involved in patient selection, pre and post-procedure care, recognition and management of complications, and the scientific basis of advances within the field.

  • General Cardiology Grand Rounds - 12:00-1:00pm
  • Multidisciplinary Transplant Selection Conference - 3:00pm

Wednesdays

  • Heart Failure/Pulmonary Hypertension Research Conference - 7:00am

Thursays

  • Morbidity and Mortality Conference - 7:00am
  • Internal Medicine Grand Rounds - 12:00-1:00pm

Fridays

  • Endomyocardial Biopsy Review - 9:40am
  • Post-transplant Patient Management Conference - 10:30am
