Patient Care

Rotations

UI Main Campus

  • Fellows will spend about 9 months at the main campus, in their weekly clinics and scrubbing in the lab with our 7-core teaching faculty.
  • Fellows will rotate through an advanced EP consult service; this service is paired with a CVD fellow and an EP faculty as a way to continue to advance your skills in consultative EP.

VA Hospital

  • Fellows will spend 3 months over the duration of the year at the VA hospital. During this rotation you will perform procedures, attend a weekly clinic and perform research.

Call

  • Between the 4 fellows (if applicable, the AIRE 2+2 Fellow) the call will be divided into a 4 (or 5) week rotation.

Advanced tools for lead extraction- penumbra, angiovac, lithotripsy
